On the 23rd November 2019 Davide Bertamini joined South East Water’s football (‘soccer’) team, the Seweroos, to compete in the Corporate Games.
The team were undefeated on the day with two 1-1 draws and one 1-0 victory. Unfortunately they didn’t progress to the finals, but a good time was had by all.

UWS presented at the 2019 Melbourne Innovyze User Days with Nicholas Longden and Bradley Nissley showcasing some of UWS’ recent projects.
On the 14th November Nicholas presented on some potable water modelling that UWS has been doing on the use of ‘disaggregated demands’ for individual properties.

Congratulations to Nicholas Longden and Kim Khoo completed the 50km a2 upstream challenge (https://upstreamfoundation.org/) in 9 hours and 44 minutes. The event was held on the 9th November 2019 and the walkers followed the Yarra River from Melbourne’s CBD to the finishing point in Donvale.
UWS’ wellbeing manager (Buddy) joined Kim and Nick for a few kilometers at the end of the day. 
In October 2019 Melbourne Water hosted an “Art of Modelling” exhibition in the foyer of their Dockland’s Building. This showcased many different forms and visualisations of modelling.
In late September Kiara Lim spent a day in Chicago at the WEFTEC Conference. This annual event organised by the Water Environment Federation (WEF) comprises of 200 technical sessions, workshops, mobile sessions, local facility tours and 1,000+ exhibitors.
Well done on the team of Kiara, Kim, Neil and Nick on completing the 50km Oxfam Trailwalk last weekend and special thanks to Lorraine being team support.
It was a chilly 3 degrees at 7am in Sydney when the team started the walk.
Urban Water Solutions is delighted to be working again with the team at Goulburn Valley Water.
Two projects were commenced in August. The first is the development of calibrated water models and master planning for Yea and Alexandra.
